Trolley Straps are designed to support bags of all shapes and sizes. When used as directed, we are certain that Trolley Strap will hold your bag but if you are unsatisfied for any reason, return it within 30 days for a full refund.  If you find an application where you need a heavier-duty Trolley Strap, hang on tight because we are working on this development!

It is safe to travel with Trolley Strap, and it can go through airport security and screening devices. We do suggest keeping it on your bag face-up while going through screening as it may be attracted to the conveyor belt metal.

Internal components of a cell phone are non-magnetic; therefore a magnet cannot affect them. For memory, phones use storage chips which are not affected by magnets. Today’s cell phone screens are LCD (rather than the old CRT screens), therefore a magnet won’t affect them. GPS uses satellites and cell phone batteries are lithium-ion, neither of which are affected by magnets. There are many cell phone products on the market that utilize magnets, such as mounts and cases, because they are safe to be used with cell phones.

Trolley Straps are safe near laptops, in fact, we have them around our office computers daily. However, we do not recommend that they come in direct contact with a laptop for a prolonged period of time, as that can have adverse effects on the computer.

To demagnetize the strip on a credit card, the strip must be in direct contact with a magnet for a prolonged amount of time. It is not the strength of the magnet that affects a credit card strip, it’s the duration of direct exposure. As long as your credit card isn’t in direct contact with the magnets in your Trolley Strap, for a prolonged amount of time, your credit card strip will be unaffected. Credit card chips are not affected by magnets at all. Cards with weaker magnetic strips, such as hotel keys and parking garage tickets, are susceptible to demagnetization and should be stored in away from your Trolley Strap.

Our research tells us that you'd need a strong magnetic field, such as one produced by an MRI scanner, to do damage to a battery. If using Trolley Strap as intended, to secure a carry-on bag to a rolling trolley suitcase, it should not affect the performance of your hearing aid batteries if they are inside a case inside your carry-on (or in your ear). However, we have not done any formal testing on the effect our products have on batteries so we can't say with 100% certainty that there would be no negative effects.

Trolley Strap should NOT be used by or near persons with pacemakers. Keep Trolley Strap away from personal medical devices as it contains strong magnets.

Extensive testing has not been done on these items so we cannot offer an official recommendation but most electronics today are not affected.
